OK “NC” Ladies and Gent’s it’s time for some more NC Internal League!

By the way the “Ladies”, that would be Rock and Cheney.

If you liked or didn’t get a chance to play in the last NC Internal League, here’s your chance to sign up and have some fun competitive team based play.

This League will be run as COD5/WAW/OW – World at War / Open Warfare.

Game type will be S&D only, with some real neat twists to it like, being able to steal the bomb from the attacking team, plus many more cool things brought to us by our very own Mr. SpacePig.

The league will last about eight weeks and will start as soon as the “R1 League play-offs” have finished. Matches will be played on Saturday evenings at 9:00 EST or other convenient evenings. Matches will be played with a min. of 5 players and a max of 8. Teams that make it to the playoffs will be based on regular season standings.

All NC members are eligible for sign up as regular or alternate players. We are hoping for teams of 8 regular players, plus alternates. All alternate players will be selected to teams. Players will be selected to teams by way of a draft. Team captains will be selected by the committee from a pool of players that indicate that they would like to be considered for a team captain position. To be selected as a team captain you must have at least 6 months or more tenure with the NC Clan.

Specific rules will be posted prior to the start of the regular season; these rules will be familiar to those who played in the previous NC and Realism1 leagues.

Sign ups will be open for 7 to 10 days, starting today. You can sign up by way of clicking on the “Write comment” line at the bottom on this story. In your response please indicate either that you want to be a “regular” or  “alternate” player and if you want to be considered for a team captain position.

So sign up now and remember to tell other members to sign up!

As soon as the sign ups are over we can select the team captains and hold the draft!

I tried to keep this in the forums but it got pushed out quickly.  Sorry if you already read it but I wanted everyone to have a chance.

We have received a lot of new applications and that shows that we are doing something right as a community. Unfortunately at this time we can no longer take on new members. We are close to 100 members and being a not for profit organization there are some financial concerns among other things with a group as big as ours. For those that received an e-mail denying your application please don't take it personally. We have not set a specific time period that we will not accept the applications but things will change, they always do. Please continue to hang out with us on TS and on the game servers. UPDATE: All servers have moved and our traffic has resumed as per normal! Thank you to all our members and guests! 

As most of you know, we have taken out a dedicated server for the clan. We are already using the Team Speak on that box. We have also been advertising the move in our COD5 server. During the day tomorrow, all NC servers will go live on the new box.

The existing servers will be reduced to 4 slots for those that may have somehow missed the irritating spam message. I would ask all NC members and guests to begin using the new box as soon as you read this so we can have a smooth transition.

The Game Tracker info will be updated to reflect the IP's of the new servers but for coverage, the new IP's are as follows:

It's that time again! Along with our first anniversary as the New Centurions, we have a large number of promotions to announce. Some clans don't use ranks but we historically have done so as it is the only tangible way of recognizing service and loyalty to the community.

Not every member receives a promotion every quarter but that is obvious. If that were the case, they would lose their meaning at all. That said, click on the read more link at the bottom of this post for the list of promotions for this quarter.
