It is inevitable with any online community that when changes that occur during a reorganization phase that we began in April that not everyone would continue the journey with us. As we continue on our path and welcome new friends to our group, there will be those whose involvement with the function of the group deepens. We are structured loosely around a "military" rank structure as a way to parallel the first person shooter games we play as a group. As always we have had and will continue to have quarterly promotions as a way to recognizer the achievements and involvement of the members of our community. We started a "new tradition" with New Centurions to recognize those that rise above the pack in the efforts and contributions of labor to the community. In keeping with the military rank structure, when those rare instances occur, we instituted the "Battlefield Commission" promotion for special circumstances. Today I have the pleasure of speaking about a member that has been with us for years now and is a testament to dedication to what we are all trying to achieve as a group. He has taken his responsibility and maximized it for the benefit of the group. When he was made an MP, within a couple of weeks, he was helping train other MP's. When we decided to try the open league venture, he has stepped up as an integral part of that not only as a player but as a "battlefield commander" in those matches. When COD:WaW became an unexpected but happy surprise as to activity, he has taken his responsibilities to the next level as a tireless leader in our group. In accordance with the afore mentioned acts of duty and services, please join me in congratulatiing our clan mate Crepetis on his commission to the rank of Second Lieutenant. Thank you Crep! Your leadership and dedication to the group are greatly appreciated. May I add that there are many of you that also have stepped up and gone above the norm and we are both thankful and appreciative. We won’t forget nor let go unrewarded your efforts on behalf of the group. For today though, let's be sure we all show Crepetis our congratulations on a job well done! ~Angel

Hello everyone, this was posted by Rock in the forum, but I think it's important enough to post it here on the frontpage. As you all know, we have been having a full server on CoD 5, and sometimes members cannot come in and play, well as members you have preference over public guests to play on our servers, so all you have to do is tell and MP that is currently playing that you can't get in, and I assure you he will make space for you, now don't get me wrong, we do not kick guests randomly, we first ask if there is any volunteers to leave because we have to make space for a clan member, fortunately, there has always been someone that steps forward and leaves, and believe me, this will not go unforgotten. I know that some of you guys are not on TS very often, but you can come in, say that you cant get in, and then leave again, although when you hear what a blast we're having, you'll probably want to stay. If you have any questions, just let me know. ~MaxRat

When we reorganized in April of this year, we wanted to continue the tradition of sharing the cost of the gaming and web servers among all members. From the founders to the newest members, that has been a continuing success. Now the holidays are upon us and Max and I want to have a "cost sharing holiday" as well. We have been fortunate to have spent our sharing funds wisely and while five bucks wont get you a drive through burger, it can make the difference for those less fortunate. So we are suspending the server cost sharing until normal statement time in January 2009. We have ample sharing funds to cover expenses until then. We are a diverse group and no one charity would be acceptable to all so what we would ask is that when you walk by a "bell ringer" at a mall or what not that you just drop the 10 bucks in there. If you have a subscription to cost sharing, please, do not cancel it! We will see that your account is refunded with fees your automated sharing from November 19th (last week) until the 18th of January 2009. If you share by monthly statement, you simply wont be receiving another statement until then. Ten bucks may not make a difference to most of you but you never know what impact something so small may well make on some child or person truly in need. So, don't be alarmed when you see a refund this month and next. We are doing very well as a community. Thanks again for your continued support. No matter how you celebrate the holidays, we hope that you and yours have an excellent season. And as you have time, we look forward to seeing you on the gaming servers! ~Angel & ~Max

Updated 11/12/2008 10:30 EST - Our COD5 server is online at 69.162.117.67:28960. Running stock Hard Core now but will be moving to Modded as soon as the beta is ready for open test. First, COD:WaW is out! That's the good news - The bad is that there was a patch released before it hit the store shelves. For registered users of the site, I do have the patch listed on our downloads at the bottom right of the main page when you login. Just click and download. It's 317 megabytes. After you install the game, install the patch imediately. Next, it uses unique names. Create a profile close to your name without the NC tags!!! The reason for that is there is a spot in Multiplayer Options for you to put the letters NC. Do not add the [ ] brackets, the game does that for you. Next, Team Speak! We have a better quality sound with Ventrilo and some superior options but not all can use Vent and our provider to be blunt is lousy. So we have a TS server up at 69.65.41.107:8899. It is on a Chicago server but it seems to be working well. It is already setup so go ahead and logon. A lot has hit at the same time but we have some good folks to help. If you have any questions on the game, please hold them until server info is posted. As for Team Speak, get with any admin on Vent and they can assist you getting migrated to TS. Thanks and stay tuned as we progress! ~Angel
