When we started the migration to this successor community, the motto of "A New Beginning" was adopted. In keeping with that philosophy, we announced the first round of NC promotions last week. Toady, I have the pleasure of announcing the addition of four tenured members to the voluteer duties of MP.

The duties of MP or remote console admin are not taken lightly by this community. All of our members expect to play in an environment that is both family friendly and fair. It is through the efforts of all members that it is even possible and our MP's voluntarily take time from their gaming to help insure this atmosphere.

UPDATED 04/27/08: What appeared to be a clear cut case of individual server lag has been tracked to an AT&T hub in Dallas. To prevent any downtime not required, our host has submitted a trouble ticket to AT&T on behalf of all their Dallas based server customers. We are awaiting those results before making a move out of that center to another city which would be less centralized.

Thanks for your continued patience and support. We will keep you advised of any change in the server status or anticipated downtime.

Due to a hardware issue which was believed to be causing the lag spikes in the COD4 TRM Tactical server, the IP is changing. Our game servers host, Gameservers.com recommended the change to a different physical server box to eliminate their hardware as the cause.

This article will be updated with the new IP as soon as they complete their transfer of our COD4 server. Once completed on their end, there will be a period of several hours while the content of the custom maps and mods are uploaded to the new box. Until that is done, the server will appear as a standard ranked server.

I anticipate the completion of this to occur during the day Saturday. The Game Tracker information will be updated to the new IP as well. Please check back on this site and refer any members and guests here for the updated information. Once again, we thank you all for your patience and support as we continue to build our resources at the New Centurions.
